Finally. I updated this.

Alrighty. It has been awhile since I've updated this. I figured I'm up at 7am on a Sunday so might as well. Having a mainstream clearnet site isn't ideal any longer for a multitude of reasons, which is mostly why I haven't been updating aside from being busy with other things. I am as of yet undecided on new hosting and torn between using onion routing or keeping it clearnet (if you don't know what I'm talking about please google "what is the dark net?" Its not as nefarious as its sometimes painted to be but you do need a special browser to access it). I could go on a rant about the government and their stupid agencies or even how that applies to the Robert Kraft situation, but I'm not in the mood to ruin my day thinking about that sad state of affairs. Basically I'm dropping this update to let you all know that I'm still here and that I'm working out the best and safest way to host and publish a better website. Don't get too excited yet. Its going to take me a minute. So, be a little excited.

Incorrect information

Per a recent review on an unfortunate local site that is predatory and breeds danger in the community, I feel it necessary to state  I am not really accepting many new clients in the Columbia area.  My single ad (not various random ads created without my knowledge or permission by webcrawlers) posted on a very reputable site, is mostly for the purposes of  my  various  travels  and to allow my former clients to contact me if they wish to do so. If you’ve been in Columbia and are just recently contacting me, you were clearly looking at Backpage and other low-end sites. No judgement, but low-end does not exist here nor do I wish to see any clientele who have heavily relied on low-end sites. I’m getting really tired of all of the ridiculous texts I get that say nothing at all and plan to screencap them here (with numbers redacted, of course) when I get a chance in order to demonstrate why I hardly even look at my phone anymore. Texting me and saying “hey,” “rates?”, “are you available?”, means you’ve done NO research and are unlikely to go through my rigorous screening process, thus you are wasting my time. I do not acknowledge texts or calls from people I do not know. And all electronic communications must remain 100% professional. I’ve pretty much moved on to another amazing chapter of my life and this is incredibly part-time for me. I wish I could I say I’m surprised at the number of entitled communications I get (mostly texts) assuming that I’m just always available and ready to rock and roll. No. I’m not in a position where I need to jump at every appointment offered to me and I think that being desperate and greedy are incredibly dangerous things when it comes to the potentially high-risk stakes we’re all playing with. Hello Darlings!

Sorry for being a bit MIA on this front. I have been so so busy in the most amazing ways. I bought some houses, my bakery stuff is going places, and my doggies are doing amazing in our new place despite the insane backlog in surveyors preventing me from putting up a fence.

My studio has changed places to a much more centrally located and very very private location in Columbia. I have limited availability and am only selectively accepting new clients.

I have had some queries lately in terms of making a wish list or asking me what my favorite stores are or how contributions can be made to all of my home renovation projects. I’m looking into some options for such a thing and am still continuing my research into a “real” site. I can’t exactly ask my bakery business/canna b&b web person to throw in an extra site for this hahahahahaha! The fact is, I hate coding but I hate site hosting templates more so I’ve kind of been stalling out of sheer procrastination for making my brain speak html and css and java and whatever other script has come out since I passed that class in undergrad. I do want to incorporate a blog format for part of the site as I really like being able to have a platform to speak directly to you! On that note, I recently started up an Emma Banks official Twitter! I don’t even social media personally, but my other business ventures have resulted in an appreciation for social networking on certain platforms. Feel free to follow me there for quick updates, random posts, some new or more candid pics, thoughts, articles, etc.

I’m just going to stick a few “wish list-y” things here (will also post on Twitter) to answer any inquires I’ve recieved and to make the information available to those who like to bring a gift. Please understand that additional gifts are NEVER expected, but always appreciated as I think it is just the sweetest thing ever when someone does something unexpectedly nice for others or show that you care with a special token of appreciation. I personally prefer rare potted plants to a bouquet of roses, so for me the attention to detail means a lot more than the monetary value of any gift. Here goes:

Yellow tulips are my favorite flowers. Yellow roses are pretty amazing as well. I love hydrangeas and hibiscus.

Rare potted plants (orchids, succulents, dwarf fruit, carnivorous plants, etc.)

Lowe’s and Home Depot gift cards (home renovations are super pricey, so these are incredibly helpful!)

Victoria Secret gift cards (or my sizes are 32DDD/34DD, sm-DD, medium or small in panties, medium in all apparel)

Car wash coupons (I love to keep my car clean but I forget to do it if I don’t buy myself the coupon booklet things with like 5 washes in them)

Specialty dog treats/organic and non-gmo dog treats (just as long as it’s not from China, they’re allowed to eat it ;-)

Sea Monkies/Worm composting bins/Hanging-frame beehive (minus the bees ;-) -I’m totally serious. I’ve always loved the sea monkey habitats and I love to garden. Worms and bees are amazing for that!

If you have skills in contracting/carpentry/any major home system work and want to help me knock some non-lead-laden walls out/back, I would love your assistance and expertise! Plus I have waaaaay more projects than just knocking back some walls. I have a fair amount of knowledge when it comes to various home systems and can do all the carpentry basics like stick frame, drywall, tile floors and backsplashes, painting, landscaping and irrigation, etc. Certainly I’m not the Incredible Hulk, though, and I generally need a helping/lifting hand. If you know plumbing, structural, cabnetry, wells (my well pump for my irrigation system is bad and my pressure tanks need to be replaced due to rust), surveying or arial topography, fencing (not the sport ;-), or simply wanna help with some yard work, I will very likely take you up on that offer! Please understand that I don’t barter with services I provide. If you wish to offer help in this manner and expect something in return, I am more than happy to pay you for your expertise rather than go any other route if you catch my drift.

Any power or hand tools in good, working condition. Off the top of my head I know I need a compressor, nail gun (frame and the smaller one, stapler), a good cordless drill and nut driver, chainsaw, gas weed eater and blower/vac, wheelbarrow, etc. Also, any good 2x4’s/6’s or fence posts, post-hole digger, plywood, fence panels...wood, basically.


I definitely need to touch on the insane political weirdness that has been cast upon our little world here. While this is an area generally shrouded in secrecy for the sake of discretion, let's all remember this quote:

Seriously guys, we may not be talking socialists and jews these days, but there is no denying things are getting weirder and weirder. I simply ask that if you find yourself in a position to educate just one person about the plight of the american sex worker, please do so. We are in danger as a population and we need help to stay safe. I assume you want to stay as safe as possible, too. For that, we need as many voices behind us as possible. We are not criminals for this work and you are not criminals for visiting ladies like me. Its time we told "the man" to keep his moral objections to himself and stop trying to lock us up or publicly shame us for consensual acts between adults. Also, please vote for legal pot because that’s really important too.

 I'm not sure what the feds' endgame is with this ridiculous power-play, but its certainly not saftey for human trafficking victims or sex workers. Everything they are doing right now only makes this more dangerous for actual victims of the sex or human trafficking trade, as such entities will only move their activities deeper underground. As for ladies like myself, things become sketchier. Thankfully I have other options that will allow me a path beyond sex work. Most ladies in this business do not have a way out or even a future plan. My thoughts are with those struggling with site closures, ad placement, and making money to survive. Unfortunately the site closures have led to my deciding to 'claim' this webcrawler's profile of me...I'm not thrilled lol

Visiting Charlotte March 21-23!!

I just purchased my new car and I am so ready to have some new adventures! I will be in Charlotte March 21-23 (Wednesday-Friday). I generally don't do the hotel thing so I will have to figure out some logistics, but any nice hotel recommendations are appreciated!

My rates outside of South Carolina are $400/hr-----$500/90 mins-----$600/2hrs (Does not apply to clients who see me at my incall location near Columbia)

I am still only accepting very limited new clients in the Columbia market as the BP stuff has not yet been figured out and things are getting worse in terms of weeding through creepy BP lurkers who want to haggle and be completely unprofessional in attempting to approach me via phone/text/ and even email at this point. Its super frustrating but I am also very thankful for the wonderful clients I currently have :-)

I have lately been putting a lot of thought into my future and have even started putting together my "retirement goals." While I expect to remain around a bit longer, this is by no means a permanent life-choice for me and I would like to exit the business at my best. No need to panic as I will keep everyone apprised of my timeline as I continue to figure stuff out.

I will also be in Seattle April 14-20 and may decide to take a few appointments while I am there, but everything is rather tentative with that at the moment. Another thing I will have to update about as the time gets closer.

Ad stealing and sites that are not exactly what they appear

Many of you are unaware that a lot of sites actually steal girls’ ads without their permission. Erotic Monkey, gfefiles and callgirlfiles just to name a few. Erotic Monkey goes so far as to steal reviews from TER. Some people actually do post reviews on Erotic Monkey (calling it em, yup lowercase on purpose, from here on out because they deserve no more deceitful clicks), but because it is a free and quite public (vs. paid members only) site it doesn’t always attract the most desirable clientele. I mean no offense to any who have used or will continue to use em as a resource, I am only stating facts and my personal opinion and experience as a result of those facts. Until (and maybe even after at this point) the patrons of BP figure out where to go, I’m put in an uncomfortable position. I have zero desire to see clients who are into “the bp experience.” Again, no offense is meant towards any hobbyist or provider, but I think we can all agree that bp is not Eros. Sometimes I don’t know why I bother writing this since no one who actually reads this tends to be an issue, and for that I thank you :-) Unfortunately ad stealing sites rarely include my link and the creeps I’m trying to weed out don’t seem to read or comprehend any of what my ads say, they just start texting or dialing. Its a huge bummer for me as well as being insanely obnoxious. Just wanted to make you guys aware that certain sites aren’t always what they appear to be and you should ALWAYS AlWAYS ALWAYS google a provider’s phone number. This should bring up the most pertinent available information on that provider from the most reputable sources. Also, please do not post/review me on Erotic Monkey it unfortunately contributes to the creep epidemic. Thanks for your help!

NEW RULES

As the Backpage fiasco continues I am finding it necessary to institute some new policies effective immediately within the Southeastern US market. I am still only VERY selectively taking new clients and my screening process will weed out any creeps. I hate to sound so bitchy about this, but I am truly at my wit's end. I have had people try to lie and make up fake information in just about every way possible at this point. I completely understand that clients are hesitant and trying to stay as low key as possible when exploring and playing in this hobby. I have always said that discretion is my job more than anything else. I also have a very normal life that would also be tarnished were this aspect of my life to be exposed. I have just as much to lose as any of you. One does not build a good reputation over a few years' time being indiscreet. I suggest that those who want to be considered as a client play by my rules instead of trying to usurp my screening process, otherwise you come off as a complete creep whom I would NEVER consider seeing. I am a 135 lb woman. You aren't the vulnerable one here in terms of physical safety. Respect that or don't waste your time (or mine) contacting me. The new rules (and some that have always been in place) are as follows:

*Absolutely NO African American, Indian, or Asian NEW clients (exceptions may be made for military personnel based upon proof of military ID)

*Screening with REPUTABLE references is required OR there are a variety of other screening options available. Be aware that this does require disclosing some personally identifying information. Again, discretion is of the utmost importance to me. I do not retain your information for any purpose. It is only used to verify that you are who you say you are and someone is far less likely to do me harm if they know that I know their actual name. I will NOT put myself at any risk of physical harm, sexual abuse, robbery, etc. Please be aware that MOST Backpage providers are NOT reputatble references and most will be refused

*I will not respond to texts that are not professional (ie: Emma?/Is this Emma?/Donation?/Are you available? (mostly because it means you have fully read NONE of my ads that indicate same day appointments are not possible)/ Hey baby, sweetie, sexy, etc/ Do you travel to X? (Send an email, but the answer is NO at this time)....and the list goes on. Treat me like a human being and you will be rewarded in kind.

Just a reminder and due to various issues, Usasexguide is NOT an appropriate venue to post about me. A couple quick notes on some things I’ve been noticing lately...

It would seem that Backpage is on its way out the door and some hobbyists are freaking out. Unfortunately many of them aren’t understanding that I’m not and never was a Backpage girl and I’m getting a lot of inquires that just abruptly end when I mention screening. I’ve also had an influx of texts saying things like, “hey” “hey sweetheart/baby” “Emma” “Emma?” “What are your rates” “Donation?”....and it gets worse. While I know those of you who are reading here are not the problem, I feel it necessary to share my perspective on this. The texts bother me because all the initial communications and much of the back end of this is basic business. I like to be approached in a manner that doesn't make me feel like a chatline. These are the types of things that make me wish that the US would knock it off with the Puritanical values and just legalize and regulate the oldest profession already!! That way more people would be aware of how to navigate this wide world of hobby fun among many other things. I could write a whole dissertation on why this should be legalized lol, I'll try to condense it into a blog post sometime. Anyway, texts that start with any of the above will NOT be answered or acknowledged. I reserve the right to refuse any client at any time for ANY reason. That sounds harsh, but while most of you are perfect gentlemen, some of you cannot handle themselves even a little bit. Those are the people I like to avoid. Generally I can tell what's what from how a person approaches me electronically, but I'm vaguely annoyed that the BP loyalists seem to be trying to branch out to an arena that they aren't prepared to be in. These are guys used to QVs and paying the least for the most. GROSS! Not the type of client I want to see. I make no judgements on people's proclivities (unless children or animals or non-consenting parties are involved) BUT I don't want to see a client who's been seeing lots of BP girls for less than $100. Its all about tiers/classes of providers and hobbyists. Hopefully the BP refugees will find a forever home soon and this will no longer be an issue! Some thoughts, some rants, some info...

Hey Guys,

Thanks for stopping by to read :-) I felt compelled to do a special post today about a couple of things. Those of you who have met me know that I am very professional in terms of scheduling and setting up appointments. I am extremely schedule-oriented and am at my best when I have a solid plan for the day. This is why I do not take same-day appointments. While I understand that many people are more spontaneous, that's just not my style when it comes to how I run my business. I have so many other responsibilities and life-roles outside of this aspect of my life, and I have found that the best way for me to manage all that I do is to schedule, schedule, schedule and have a concrete plan. Can I generally be a little flexible? Yes. However if a client has scheduled an appointment with me on a day where I have other responsibilities I always ensure that I have some buffer time scheduled in and make it known to my client that I have to leave at a certain time.

This has never been an issue until recently. Recently I had a potential client schedule an appointment with me for 11:45am. I offered this client a 10:45am appointment, but he opted for the 11:45. No problem. I provided the proper general location information so he could make plans to account for travel times and requested that he confirm with me later that evening, as is my usual process. He failed to confirm, but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and would continue on as scheduled. I finally heard from him the morning of the appointment to confirm and everything seemed good to go for 11:45. He proceeded to text me within 45 mins of the appointment time indicating that he was leaving and would put my address into his gps and text back with an ETA. I had no idea where he was coming from, so I assumed he'd be on time and even told him it was fine if he got here early....I receive a text that says he will be to me by 12:05. At that time I told him 12:05 was okay, but I did need to be somewhere at 1:30 and would need to leave my studio a few minutes prior to 1pm. He responded asking if I would like to see him after I took care of my other responsibilities....This is where I get upset and annoyed.

First of all, this guy had all the information he needed to plan appropriately to get to me at the scheduled time. When he failed to be able to do that, I told him that 12:05 was fine but I'd need to leave a couple minutes early. He decided to take this to mean that I was going to "rush" him. Again, anyone who has seen me knows that I do not rush. I let him know that I would appreciate it if he would keep the appointment he scheduled, especially since I agreed to 12:05. At max his poor planning would have cost him 10 mins (5 from him being 20 minutes late, 5 from me needing to leave by 1pm). He sent another text inquiring about a time for rescheduling. I replied stating that because I felt that this had become too much of a hassle that I no longer wished to see him as a client at all. He then proceeded to ask me if I was serious because he'd driven an hour to see me. First of all, he hadn't driven an hour from the time he texted he was leaving and the time he told me his eta. If he had, there never would have been an issue at all! Second, its like he expected my whole afternoon to be available for him whenever he got around to getting here for a scheduled one-hour appointment. Not to mention, he was complaining that he'd driven an hour to see me and yet he was the one wanting to change the times and reschedule. He made no sense ultimately. He wanted his cake and to eat it, too. I attempted to explain that I did not want to see someone who was already making assumptions about being rushed when he was the one that was late due to poor planning. It would be a different story if this guy had run into a bad car accident or traffic jam; those things happen. He could have prevented being late by simply gps'ing my location hours prior to our appointment, but he decided to wait until the absolute last second. He wasn't even apologetic. He was a jerk about the whole thing. I'm sometimes astounded at the miserable attitudes of some hobbyists when this is supposed to be a fun escape from everyday life. I don't understand why they participate if they are seemingly, no matter what, always unhappy about something a provider says/does or doesn't do.

The moral of the story is that I am happy to see clients who respect my time as much as I respect theirs. I am not a strung out, low-end provider. I would much rather turn down a client who I am not comfortable with than see someone who is going to be a jerk about everything. I do this work because I enjoy providing feel-good vibes and positive energy, not because I want to be treated as a lesser being because I am being paid for my companionship. Yes, I fully recognize society's general viewpoint, but I would hope that at least some of you have some slightly more evolved thinking. Again, this has never ever been an issue prior to very recently, but since it did become an issue I decided that it warranted a post here. The intent is not to call anyone out (if I was going to do something stupid like that I probably wouldn't have purposely made "potential client" totally anonymous, ha), the message is simply to treat others with the same respect that you wish to be treated with. You're nice to me and you'll have the best time ever...you're a jerk to me in any form or fashion and I will happily never see you as a client. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who all have the modicum of respect and professionalism with regard to your communications with me! You are the best a girl could ask for :-)

Booking For June!!!

I haven't posted in awhile because I have been outside enjoying the sunshine as much as possible! Last summer I didn't get to really be in the sun, go swimming, or anything fun and summery due to surgery. I can't believe its been nearly a year since I had my first surgery...time flies!

I am currently accepting appointments for the rest of June at this time. I have some new photos to add and am really debating spending a few hundred dollars for someone to build me a proper website instead of this blog site. Everything would be so much more cohesive that way, not to mention more visually attractive! If I do set up a new site I will definitely update any and all ads to reflect the new address and all of my contact info will remain the same, though I will probably have a contact form on my site for new clients. I am also looking into new massage and relaxation techniques to experiment with.
