Some thoughts...

I feel it necessary to write a little something about client conduct. While I am very thankful to have some of the best clients a girl could possibly ask for, there are some clients I have refused for various reasons. I wish to outline some of those reasons here, as I do not believe that all those I have denied meant to make the errors causing me to refuse them as clients. This is not to say I want to give anyone who creeped me out a second chance, I just wish to give something of an idea of what would cause me to refuse a client.

1. All of my ads and blogs posts indicate that the best, easiest, and quickest way to get in touch with me is via email. This is partly due to the fact that my email is always available to me, discreetly, while my work phone is not something I am always able to access discreetly. I also require screening. Screening is done via email. My voicemail message also indicates that email is the quickest way to reach me and that same day appointments are generally not available. What this means is that if you repeatedly call my phone, I automatically assume that you cannot follow directions and its just plain obnoxious and creepy to have the same number continue to call and call when I have made it very clear that I can easily be reached via email.

2. Text messages from unfamiliar numbers simply saying "Hey, what's up?!" These types of messages are always ignored and a complete waste of my time. I am not going to engage in a random text conversation when I am approached in an unprofessional manner.

3. If I have never seen you before, do not ask/talk to me about any specifics regarding my services. Not only do these questions make me uncomfortable in terms of professionalism and potential law enforcement, this is what review sites and discussion boards are for. If after I have screened and approved you as a client, you have a specific request please make that request known in the form of a statement rather than a question. (EX: Wrong way- Do you do/allow xyz?/ Correct way- I have an interest/request for xyz.) I will then decide how to approach your request.

4. Toys. While I am fetish friendly and enjoy certain toys, I will only play with my own toys unless a client wishes to bring a NEW toy which must be in factory-sealed packaging. This is for health and safety reasons. Until I begin to develop a trusting provider/client relationship with you, I am also unlikely to accept any food or drink that is not sealed by the manufacturer. Again, this is a safety measure on my part.

5. I am not a clock-watcher and take pride in my unrushed appointments. However, offers of taking me out to eat prior to an appointment, bringing me takeout and watching me eat it...general efforts on the part of the client to purposely extend time with me with no agreement of recompense prior is not something I am interested in. While I know some of these offers are of no ill-intent, I do sometimes take offense and insult to the fact that my time is not respected. I live a full life outside of my work, which is an important factor in maintaining a psychologically healthy outlook on this business. Please respect my time as I will always ensure that your time is respected and valued. Simply put, respect the time limitations of an appointment unless I say otherwise ;-)

In summary, I am a very accommodating and eager to please provider. I want to provide the best possible experience for my clients. I also wish to thank the clients I currently have for being wonderful and respectful gentlemen! I hope this post is not taken the wrong way, as I do admit my writing style can come off a bit bluntly. I simply wanted to write down a few thoughts on things that had been on my mind the last few weeks. Please see my prior blog entry for scheduling information during this holiday season!

xxxo,
Emma
